Insights is the first page Owners, Admins, and Viewers see. It has two tabs.

## Overview tab

**Five cards along the top.**

| Card | Big number | Small number |

| **Assets** | Different AI tools found | Copies across all laptops (**Instances**) |
| **Endpoints** | Laptops with the scanner | Laptops that reported recently (**Active**) |
| **Sessions** | Recorded AI conversations | Messages |
| **AI Consumption** | Estimated AI spend in dollars | Interactions |
| **Governed Assets** | Share of tools with a decision | |

The two numbers on the Assets card tell different stories. Different tools shows how varied your AI use is. Copies shows how widespread it is. One risky tool on 50 laptops is a bigger problem than the same tool on one.

**Risk Governance** is a ring chart of tool copies by risk level. Click a level to list the tools at that level. **Govern critical assets** jumps to Remediation with that filter on.

**Asset types by risk** shows one bar per tool type. Switch between **Unique** and **Instances**, and filter by level to see, for example, how many Critical MCP servers you have compared with Critical browser extensions.

**Recent Activity** lists the last five audit events, with a link to the full [Audit log](/surface/admin/audit-log).

## AI Usage tab

The last 7 days of recorded sessions: estimated cost, sessions, tokens, and messages, with charts over time and a list of the people who use AI most. See [AI usage](/surface/sessions/ai-usage).
