title: Inventory
description: The full list of AI tools found on any laptop, with risk, status, and where each one is.

_[console.superalign.ai/inventory](https://console.superalign.ai/inventory)_

Each row is one AI tool. It appears once, however many laptops have it.

| Column | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Risk** | Score from 0 to 10 and its level. See [How risk is calculated](/surface/risk/scoring) |
| **Name** | Click to open the tool |
| **Asset Type** | Agent, MCP Server, Skill, Browser Extension, IDE Extension, Model, Memory, or Tool |
| **Status** | **Ungoverned** (no decision yet) or **Governed** |
| **Last Used** | When the tool was last seen in use |
| **Instances** | How many laptops have it |

The buttons above the table switch between **All** and one tool type. Filters cover **Status**, **Risk Level**, and a range of **Instances**.

## A good way to start

1. Filter by **Critical** and **High**. Deal with those first.
2. Filter by **Ungoverned** to see how much has never been reviewed.
3. Sort by **Instances** to find the tools that are everywhere.
4. Look at every MCP Server whatever its risk. They give agents access to other systems.

## The tool panel

Click a name and a panel opens on the right.

- **Asset Overview**: status, current decision (or the suggested one), risk score, sessions from this tool, number of laptops, and number of failed policies. Each number is a link.
- **Connections**: the other tools this one is linked to, such as the MCP servers and skills a coding agent uses.

Owners and Admins also see **Allow**, **Warn**, and **Block** at the bottom. See [Remediate a tool](/surface/governance/remediate).

## Risk Breakdown and Instances

The arrow at the top of the panel, **Open Risk Breakdown**, opens the tool's full page.

- **Risk Breakdown** shows the score and the **Failed Policies** list: every rule the tool breaks, with severity. This is the "why" behind the score.
- **Instances** lists every laptop that has the tool, with the risk on that laptop and when it was last seen. Click a laptop to see that copy's install path and, for Owners and Admins, to set a decision for that laptop only.
