Every week, someone in your company installs a new AI tool. A coding assistant. A browser add-on that reads every page. A connector that gives an AI agent access to GitHub, or to the file system. None of it goes through IT. Most of it is invisible.

How the pieces fit
Surface has two parts.
- The scanner is a small program on each laptop. It runs in the background, looks for AI tools every 15 minutes, and reports what it finds.
- The console is the website where you see everything the scanners found, and where you make decisions.
