Cloud sync is a cloud extension: it runs in SuperAlign’s backend, not on a laptop.
Prompt collectors record what happens on laptops. Some AI products run entirely in the cloud, so there is nothing on a laptop to record. Cloud sync connects to those products directly and pulls their agents, sessions, and transcripts into Surface on a schedule.

Synced agents appear in Inventory alongside tools found on laptops. Synced conversations appear on the Sessions page with the product as the source.
