Prompt collectors
Session recording for one AI tool at a time, on by default.
A prompt collector runs on every laptop and records sessions from one AI tool. Every collector in the console is on when your organization is created. Turn one off and every scanner in your organization drops it within 15 minutes.

Chrome is the exception to “on by default”: its switch is on, but the browser records nothing until the browser extension is pushed to laptops.
More tools (Cursor, Copilot, Gemini CLI, Goose, and others) will be added to this list over time.
Before you begin
- You have the Admin role. Other roles see the switches but cannot flip them.
How to turn one off
Open Extensions
Click Extensions at the bottom of the left menu and scroll to Endpoint Extensions.
Flip the switch
Find the collector and click its switch. You see a message such as “Claude Code discovery disabled”.
Wait one scan
Every laptop picks up the change within 15 minutes and stops recording that tool.
Sessions already recorded stay until they expire. Click the switch again to record that tool once more; new sessions appear on the Sessions page.
What a collector does on the laptop
It hooks into the tool’s own session files or events, reads each new turn of the conversation, and hands it to the scanner. The scanner adds the person and laptop and sends it to the console. Nothing is sent to anyone else.
